Top Five Tips for Multi-Cat Households

In the wild cats would not share resources but modern day living means they sometimes need to.  Ideally cats should be able to look up others when they want to, but also be able to retreat to their own space if they need a bit of ‘me time’. To ease any stress that may occur between cats living in a multi-cat household try the following:

• Provide a litter tray for each cat (plus one extra if possible)  Privacy!

• Create elevated hiding places for them to get away from it all

• Separate areas for each cat to sleep and rest

• Watering and feeding bowls for everyone in a different place if possible

• Cat flaps for a quick get away

Plug in a Feliway Diffuser, it can help ease tension between cats living in the same home and so create a relaxed environment for all your cats.
