We acquired two female Persian kittens (Chloe & Tilly) 5 years ago from a rescue centre. We live in a ground floor flat and are out most of the day so they have become indoor animals but have the chance to go outside when supervised.

Chloe

Chloe has a deformed backbone (medically diagnosed  with a MRI scan and known to be a genetic problem) which causes her pain if she jumps down from a height. She has in the past acquired a skin condition around her jaw, eyes, ears and chin…..she used to scratch this until it bled and no matter what we did or our vet prescribed made any difference. Following a skin test, food intolerance was suggested and the cats’ diet was changed (much to their disgust) but unfortunately nothing helped.

Tilly

During the same time, Tilly developed a skin problem which started at her tail and slowly spread towards her head…..this was a dry, flaky condition which wept when picked or scratched, it was just horrible. After trying different products I found a tea tree based cream which after prolonged application finally got rid of it.

Lilah, our apricot/white cat is our latest arrival (the same age as the other two) has been with us for about a year.  After a brief period she seemed to settle in, but recently she has taken to spending a penny on the base of some curtains and pooing outside her toilet.

Her actions prompted us to purchase your product some 6-8 weeks ago. As of today’s date we have had no further incidents of her problem, but the amazing thing is that Chloe’s face condition has gotten completely  better, her attitude has completely changed and all three animals are much more content and chilled out.
We plan to continue using Feliway for the forseeable future!

Magic is a lovely boy but sadly took a little while to settle in after we adopted him he was stressed & often walked around the house during the night making a lot of noise & needing comfort. When we tried to take the litter tray away we started having real problems. Magic started spraying, & not just on the walls but furniture too, which was obviously completely unacceptable. Feliway has been a lifesaver in our household. Our 3-1/2 year old female cat started marking the carpet in our formal living room. Unfortunately we didn’t catch it until it was too late and needed to replace the flooring. We opted for a laminate in case the flooring change didn’t work. After ripping out the carpet, we sealed the sub-floor with several coats of oil based Kilz before having the new floor laid. Despite all those changes, within hours of the new floor install, she marked in her favorite corner. The next day I bought a Feliway plug in and a spray bottle. I plugged it in the outlet nearest her favorite corner but she only moved to the opposite corner and marked there instead. So I bought another Feliway plug in for the plug in nearest THAT corner and have been diligent about spraying the surrounding area and we have gone 11 days without another incident so far!
